Real and Smooth Limited replaces GMG Radio name

The Real Radio Network, Real Radio XS and national station Smooth Radio will collectively be known under the new brand name Real and Smooth Limited with immediate effect.

Real and Smooth Limited replaces the Real and Smooth name following the acquisition of the stations by Global Radio Holdings last month.

The group name will be used for the foreseeable future. Real and Smooth Limited is in a ‘hold separate’ position while work by competition authorities takes place into the merger of the Real and Smooth stations with Global Radio.
